The main focus is on the youngest, with fun and play in a safe environment. This is a great way to be active in the nature – with your children.
Go Rafting Sjoa is beautifully situated on a hill just off the Sjoa river. The old school building from 1922 is at the heart of the area, surrounded by large birch trees, green grass, lush fields, hot tub, sauna and rafts. Here we also offer accommodation to our guests, and with simple and cozy options both in rooms, cabins and lavvo, we have something for every taste and budget. Breakfast is served in the dining room in the old part of the school building, while lunch and dinner are served outdoors around our sheltered bonfire area. We also have a small kiosk / shop / bar at the reception.
White water family rafting is a great experience and a great option when the whole family wants to create good, lasting memories!
White water family rafting is suited to both those who are too young to go on the regular Sjoa trips, as much as for those who want a cautious approach to white water rafting. We adapt our family rafting to water levels and needs and run the trip either in the Upper Sjoa or on the mighty Otta river. This way we can always offer a great trip for the whole family.
White Water Family Rafting in Upper Sjoa or on the mighty Otta river.
White Water Rafting in Upper Sjoa
After the Sjoa has run through gorges and high falls, it eventually finds a quiet path. And it is here, in the majestic Sjodalen valley, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and idyllic hillsides, that we start our journey.
White Water Rafting on Otta
The mighty Otta river is a large and wide river, with alternating quiet parties and fine, clear rapids. With its unmistakable blue-green color, Otta is one of the country’s 20 largest rivers, and the one that supplies most water to the Gudbrandsdalslågen river.
